Before I start with the actual review of this nail polish, I would just like to say to please ignore the minor messiness on my nails. I didn't wait for the polish to dry - my bad. Anyway, I don't know what is so special about this color, but bunch of my schoolmates seem to be obsessed with it. As soon as they saw it on my nails, I had to become the nail polish dealer. Now they're all happy owners of their own bottle. Lol. Silly stories aside, the color is obviously really pretty, but I'm more of a creme finish type of girl, so it's not one of my favorites. The 'Blue Shock' nail polish has pretty long staying power, but the thing that annoys me is its sheerness. You have to apply 4 coats to get it completely opaque, and I'm just too impatient for that - the result are the smudgy nails, of course.
What a beautiful mermaid colour :) pitty about the 4 coats though :(

ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely shade! Great for summer or a night out! I use to use Avon a lot but I haven't got anything from Avon in years now! Might have to try out some of their polishes xo
