RazorPit Review + Giveaway

Today I'm here with another beauty post. But don't expect any make-up reviews or nail polish swatches this time, because I'm going to talk about, well, shaving, haha. Hair removal is something that we all have to deal with whether we like it or not. As you know, there are several methods out there. I've tried most of them, but I've always ended up going back to shaving - it's the cheapest and the only pain-free option. Even though shaving is the cheapest option, it is not really cheap if you think about it! The regular disposable razors may not cost a lot at first glance, but if you add up all the purchases, the price may shock you. Especially if you're buying one of the expensive versions with flexible blades like I am (They're the only ones that work for me. I always get cuts when I'm using the regular ones). Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I've found a way to save some bucks when it comes to razors! If you're interested, keep reading.

I was sent this razor sharpener to do a review, and to be honest, I wasn't completely convinced that it would work. Luckily, it seems to work, so I am more than happy to share the find with you. So, what is this product all about? This product actually cleans your razor and therefore prolongs its use. The company claims that by using this sharpener, one razor blade will last you up to 150 shaves. I kind of doubt that this is true, but I've been testing this product for about three weeks now, and I'm actually still using the same razor. The razor usually lasts me about a week, so I'm pretty satisfied so far.

If you want to 'sharpen' your razor all you need to do is put on some shaving cream on the rubbery surface of this product and then push the razor down and up the sharpener. I'm pretty bad at explaining this, so it would be best if you take a look at this demonstration. For more information about this product you can check out the company's website.

P.S. I'm still really confused by how this actually works, since the surface of this product is made out of rubber... It just doesnt' make sense to me.

The sharpener that I was sent also came along with the stand, where you can store the RazorPit and two razors, which is pretty useful, don't you think so? This particular kit costs 25€, but there is also a 20€ version. You can buy the Razorpits here. Considering you can save about 120€ a year - Hello London plane ticket! - by using this product, it is definitely something worth investing in.

The company was also kind enough to send me an additional sharpener, so I can give it away to one of you! If you want a chance to get it for free, fill in the Rafflecopter below. The giveaway will run until 28th of October! And yes, it's international. :)
