Holly Jolly Holiday Tag 2

I've been planning to do a Christmassy tag for weeks, but I just couldn't find one that isn't very similiar to my last year's Holly Jolly Holiday Tag. Yesterday, however, I saw that there's now the second edition of the Holly Jolly Holiday Tag, so this is the one I'll be doing today. :)

1. Do you start your Christmas shopping on Black Friday or wait until the last minute?
This year I'll be more of a last minute shopper if I'm completely honest. With all the tests coming up, I just don't have time to go on a shopping spree right now. Having said that, I would definitely take the advantage of Black Friday sales if I lived in the USA.

2. If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?
Oh gosh, haha. I'm a very shy person so I really can't imagine myself acting, but if I didn't have these issues, I would love to have a role in a romantic comedy like The Holiday. :)

3. Which do you like better: Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
I'll go with Christmas Day. I love getting up early to open Christmas presents and then spending the whole day in front of the TV watching Christmas movies + maybe visiting some relatives in the afternoon.

4. When does your family put up your Christmas tree and who decorates it?
My sister and I usually put it up just a few weeks before Christmas. We always want to do it sooner, but we're not allowed because of my sister's mid-December birthday celebrations. We're always having a lot of people over, so my parents say that the Christmas tree would take too much space and make everything too crowdy. So not true... :D

5. White lights or colored lights?
I prefer the white ones.

6. Are you guilty of peeking at your presents or do you like the surprise?
I don't think I've ever peeked at my presents when I was little. I kind of like the surprise. :)

7. Would you rather live in a gingerbread house or in Santa's Workshop?
You know what? I'm not sure if I wouldn't be tempted to eat the gingerbread house I would live in, so I think the second choice would be better for me, haha.

8. Tell us your Christmas Eve traditions!
I'm sorry, but I have nothing interesting to tell you. We have zero Christmas traditions. We usually just make some cookies and watch Christmas movies.

9. If you could be under the mistletoe with anyone who would it be?
Chace Crawford or Ian Somerhalder. Nuff said, right? :D

10. What tops your tree?
Hmmm, I don't know how to describe it. It looks similar to these

11. Can you name the 12 days of Christmas?
Nope.

12. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling?
No, never. People don't do Christmas caroling in my country unfortunately.

13. Do you countdown to Christmas? If so, how many days are left?
No, not really. But I think there are 18 days left. Ok, maybe I do countdown. XD

14. What are some foods and treats you can count on having every holiday season?
My favorite cookies! I published the recipe here

15. How has Christmas kept its magic for you as you've grown older?
I don't know. Christmas always brings out the child in me. I think I'll never stop loving the atmosphere that comes with it. Everything seems magical during this time of the year. Don't you think so?

  2. Zelo zanimiv post. Jaz božič nekako povezujem z očetovim rojstnim dnevom, ker ga ima ravno na ta dan in potem vedno praznujemo skupaj s sorodniki. Se pa strinjam s tabo, da se zdi v tem času vse tako čarobno. :)
