Weekly Snapshots: London

Samuel Johnson once said that when you're tired of London, you're tired of life. He couldn't be more right. I love this city and will probably love it until I die. I really hope that my plan of moving there for at least a few months in the next couple of years will come true... :)

My huge luggage that doesn't really look that huge in the photo.  Ready for takeoff.  We've made it! I didn't expect our room to be as large as it was, because London hotel rooms are usually quite tiny.  Breakfast - English muffin - at McDonalds.  Exploring the city.  The British Museum.  4D Underground. ♥ Hanging out with Lady Gaga. ♥ Lunch on the streets. ♥ Did that. :D ♥ The amazing Oxford Street.

The Natural History Museum. ♥ Harrods! ♥ A Mulberry bag that saw at Harrods and fell in love with. Anyone wants to buy it for me? :D ♥ Confusing traffic light. ♥ Cheesy mac. ♥ The best lasagna ever at Kitchen Italia.  Westfield London shopping center. ♥ My sister forcing me to blow dry her hair while she's playing with my phone. ♥ Starbucks hot chocolate on the go. ♥ Mind the gap please! ♥ Big Ben. ♥ M&M World.

Underground again. ♥ The Buckingham Palace. ♥ Bond Street a.k.a. the Oxford Streed for the rich. ♥ Did some shopping at Victoria's Secret. ♥ Chocolate cheesecake. ♥ Winter wonderland. We went on two rides and I almost had a heart attack. I'm not a rollercoaster person, that's for sure!  ♥ My new hat. ♥ A waffle with Nutella for me and a crepe for my sister. ♥ A view from our hotel.

Strawberries and yoghurt for breakfast. ♥ London eye. ♥ Palace of Westminster. ♥ London eye up close. ♥ The Westminster Palace again. ♥ A terribly overpriced bracelet - long story. ♥ Katja being excited for lunch. ♥ Mushroom risotto. ♥ Chicken in creamy mushroom sauce with baby potatoes. Yum, yum, yum! ♥ On the way to Trafalgar Square. ♥ London eye yet again. ♥ Sherlock Holmes pub.

Pizza. ♥ Our NYE spot! Pretty awesome, huh? ♥ London style aurora. ♥ Amazing London's fireworks. ♥ St. Paul's. ♥ Christmas tree at Covent Garden. ♥ The Lion King musical. This was my third time watching it. I'm obsessed! :D ♥ Tower Bridge & the Tower of London.

Pasta for lunch. ♥ Greenwich. ♥ Fish & chips. ♥ My sister's new sparkly shoes. ♥ Found one of my favorite drinks - Mountain Dew. It wasn't as good as the Dubai one, though. ♥ Frozen yoghurt with pineapple and chocolate. ♥ My new friend. ♥ Cupcakes. The red velvet ones are my fave. ♥ Shopping haul preview. And yes, that's a double bed covered with new stuff. I might have to divide my haul video in several parts... ♥ Time to go home. Booo. ♥ My sister's luggage refused to open when we got home, but we thankfully managed to open it a few hours later.

  1. This looks like an amazing trip. I've always wanted to visit London but I'm near Edinburgh. I always used 'it's too far away' as an excuse but if you can go from Slovenia then I need to get round to it! x
