This is the End...

The day we've all been dreading is about to arrive. Google is getting rid of Google Reader and apparently also GFC (the little follow box you can see in the sidebar of my blog), which means that about 1000 of you won't be able to follow my blog anymore. It will make me really sad seeing your lovely faces disappear from my blog after all those years… :(

To avoid the disaster, I would like to invite you to follow me through Bloglovin’ from now on. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Bloglovin’ is an amazing site where you can follow all your favourite blogs and get instant updates as soon as new posts are being published. You just need to sign up and follow my blog HERE. They don’t send you any annoying e-mail updates or anything, and it’s easy peasy to use.  I’ve been a big fan of this site for years.  It publishes new posts automatically right away, so the readers are constantly up to date, and it even marks which posts you’ve read already and which are still waiting for you to be read. You can even organize the blogs you follow into categories! It’s the perfect blog-reading tool for us organization freaks.

As I have said, you can continue supporting my blog by clicking the follow button HERE. There are some very exciting posts coming up after I’m done with exams, and I really don’t want you to miss them. I promise there will be a little surprise for those of you who (will) follow me via bloglovin’ as well! ;)

P.S. Just in case you’re not really fond of bloglovin’, there are still some other ways to follow me. I try to publish the links to all my new posts on my Facebook (like here) and Google+ (follow here), but when I’m out of the country, the updates might come a bit late, as my posts are sometimes scheduled and I have to put the links up manually. Then there are also Twitter (here) and Instagram (here), of course, but I mainly use those just for extra mini updates. Ohh, and don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel HERE! :)

  1. I am so sad that they are doing this...but oh well, there's nothing we can do. I was just now writing a post on this too. :(

  2. I don't mind them getting rid of the widget but I haven't really thought about how it will affect people who follow me! I have bloglovin' but I rarely use it x
