The Week When I Ate The Best Frozen Yoghurt

izola slovenija slovenia

As per usual, I'm late with my Sunday post. Maybe I should rename Sunday posts into Monday posts and start publishing them on Monday? Just kidding. I'll get the next one up on Sunday, I swear! The reason I'm being late this time is because I haven't been home during the weekend and didn't take my laptop with me. On Saturday my family was invited to a birthday party that took place at a tourist farm located in the region of Karst. Most guests loved it, because there was a lot of wine and yummy food involved, but I personally just felt out of place. Let's just say that I don't want to be forced to slow dance with strangers and answer pervy questions that someone came up with as a part of the show in front of way too many people. Just no. I don't get why people are so determined to make guests feel uncomfortable at a party. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Anyway, after the incident, I decided that it's time for me to go and I sneaked out to my hotel room to watch Country Strong. The movie was amazing and I definitely feel like I've made the right decision. Even if I missed the birthday cake, haha.

The next day it was time for us to go back home, but before we went back to our hometown, my family decided to go grab some lunch at the seaside since it was only a 15 minute drive away. The weather was wonderful and I thoroughly ejoyed soaking up the sun and taking a stroll by the sea.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Discovering the most delicious frozen yoghurt. One of the highlights of our quick little trip to the seaside was eating the frozen yoghurt you can see in the photo below. It was SO good! Finding a place where they sell frozen yoghurt in my country is as hard as finding a needle in a haystack, so even the fact that I spotted a frozen yoghurt shop in Izola made my day. Of course, my sister and I had to go get some, and we both came to the conclusion that this was the best frozen yoghurt we've ever eaten. The place didn't have tons of toppings to choose from like some other places abroad have, but the yoghurt itself was definitely a winner.

SONG OF THE WEEK

Country Strong. I've had the soundtrack of Country Strong on my iPod ever since it came out, but it took me three years to actually watch the movie. Oopsie! I do like the fact that I already knew all the songs, though, because I was happiliy singing along throughout the whole movie, haha. Also, do you wanna know my little secret? I love singing country songs. I'm not much of a singer, but when it comes to modern female country pop, I can totally hit the notes! I don't know what happens to my voice. I guess I have a special country superpower, haha. Oh, dear, I'm so lame, aren't I?

    1. V Izoli se lokalu reče Jogurtland al pa nekaj podobnega. Vem, da imajo drugače še navaden sladoled, ampak je očitno ime in že od daleč vidiš. :D
