The Week When I Bought a One-Way Plane Ticket

Guess what? I'm bringing back my Sunday's 'The Week When' posts. This means that I won't be doing weekly vlogs anymore, but it doesn't mean you won't be seeing any at all. I know a lot of you enjoyed watching them, despite my life being boring as hell, so I'll try and film some random daily vlogs here and there, if something interesting happens in my life. And I'm sure there will be a lot more eventful days in my life now that I'm moving to London! I already made the big announcement on my youtube channel and various social media, but just in case you missed it, yes, you've read that correctly. I am moving to London, UK. To be honest, I'm still in disbelief. I feel like I'm dreaming, but apparently I am not, because here I am, with a one-way plane ticket in my hand, ready to leave Slovenia in less than a month.

It all happened very quickly. Only a month ago, I still had no clue how my life would evolve once I finish university. Of course, moving to London has always been in the back of my mind, but I had no idea it would happeen so quickly. I created a profile on an au pair website a day before I left for Bali, got contacted by a family during my vacation, had an interview a day after my arrival back to Slovenia, and the rest is history. Well, techincally, it's the future, but you know what I mean, haha. I'm moving to London on October 4th and I couldn't be more excited. I'll be working as an au pair during the week, but since the children I'll be looking after go to school, I'll have plenty of free time. Luckily, my host family is very supportive as far as my hobbies go, so I'll continue with blogging and youtube. My online store is not going anywhere either, as most of the work I do is based online anyway. I'll only need help with preparing and shipping out packages, which my dad and my sister will be taking care of from my move on.

So, yeah, this is my big news! I'll be staying in London until July for sure, but if I manage to find a job and a place to rent afterwards, I'll be making the move a permanent thing. Ahh, I'm so excited! I can't wait to explore England and meet all you fellow British blogging/youtube ladies! See you soon! :)
