Current Wishlist

Current wishlists... I used to publish them all the time. On a monthly basis even, but I haven't put one up in about a year. Can you believe it? This definitely doesn't mean I couldn't think of any items I was lusting over, because we all know this is impossible if you're a part of the beauty blogging community. But it is true that I was trying to stay away from shopping as much as I could to save some money, and therefore tried not to compile lists of products 'I need'. A year later, here I am in London, surrounded by all these amazing shops and boy, would I like to shop! It's been three weeks and I'm still successfully resisting the urge (mainly due to the fact that my paycheck only covers weekend trips to central London without extra splurges). Having said that, I did come up with a plan that will make me and my wallet both happy. I'll start doing wishlists again, and at the end of every month treat myself to an item or two, depending on how much they cost and how much money I have left to spare. A pretty good plan, right? Look at me being all grown up and responsible with money. Oh, how I wish that the EuroMillions ticket I bought last week would be the winning one. All my problems would be solved in a heartbeat! But enough about me not being the lucky one. Let's talk about the products I don't have but want in my life now.

1) Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick:  When Charlotte Tilbury launched her own makeup line last year, British beauty bloggers went bonkers for her products, but it wasnt't until now that they've really caught my attention. The Matte Revolution lipsticks look to die for from inside out! I wouldn't mind adding Bond Girl, Amazing Grace, Lost Cherry and Glastonberry to my collection. Very Victoria is another shade that sparked my interest, as it's supposed to be the perfect brown nude everyone is head over hills with at the moment. At 23 pounds a pop, they might be stuck on my wishlist for quite a while, but if I manage to swatch them in person and end up falling in love with a certain shade, I might treat myself for Christmas.

2) Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: My eyebrows are currently driving me crazy. I ran out of the pencil I've been using for the past year to fill in my brows, and since I can't get it here in the UK, I'm trying to find another option. Everyone seems to love the Brow Wiz, and I would love to try it out myself to see if it's worth the hype, but I'm afraid I would end up purchasing the wrong shade. My eyebrows have a gray undertone, which makeup brands for some reason don't seem to acknowledge, so I always have to mix two pencils to get the right shade. I usually opt for the mixture of taupe and black, which you can see in this video. Avoiding warm-toned shades is a must for me, because they look bizzare and fake on me, but they are the only ones I can find in drugstores. So annoying! Do you have any recommendations for me? Do you maybe have cool-toned eyebrows and have managed to find the match from the Brow Wiz line?

3) Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade: Another famous and much loved product from Anastasia Bevery Hills that I wouldn't mind trying if there was a match for my eyebrows. I would definitely prefer to use a pencil for day-to-day makeup, but I feel like the Pomade would be perfect for those edgy, perfected, night out kind of looks.

4) Ghd V Coral Pink Styler: My straightener had decided to retire last summer and I've been using my sister's one ever since, but now that I've moved, this is no longer the case. I've been without it for three weeks now and I don't think I can wait for much longer. My hair is ridiculously wavy and all over the place! I've had my eyes on some Ghds for a while, as they're supposed to be good and worth the investment, but I can't bring myself to spend so much money on a straightener. I'm keeping my fingers crossed there will be some discounts going on around Christmas time. Otherwise, I'll have to look into other options. Again, recommendations are welcome! Just to let you know, I have a lot of hair and they're also thick, so I need something decent to work with.

5) Nars Sheer Glow Foundation: Being a makeup bag staple of many beauty lovers, it's always been in the back of my mind. I even considered ordering it online at one point, but couldn't figure out what my shade would be, so I gave up. The other day, I finally had the opportunity to see the shades in person, though. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't try to find the right shade, but I put a random one on my hand and boy, did it look and feel amazing! I have pretty much decided that this will be the first high end makeup purchase for me here in the UK at the end of the month, and I can't wait to go back to the shop and pick out my shade. I think I'm either Deauville or Gobi.

6) Lorac Mega Pro Palette: I believe this was a limited edition palette and since Lorac is only available in the US, I'll probably never be able to hold it in my hands, but if a miracle happens and they decide to make it permanent, I'll go out of my way to get it! I bought the Lorac Pro Palette you can see me using all the time when I was visiting the States last year and it was by far the best makeup purchase I've ever made. The matte shades are ridiculously good. I want more!

7) Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer: My under eye circles are a constant battle and I'm still in search for the perfect concealer. Right now, I'm mixing two or three to cover the bad boys up. I found out about the Amazing Concealer on Zoe Newlove's blog, and she completely sold it to me.

8) Benefit Gimme Brow Gel: I told you I'm currently obsessing over eyebrows! Gimme Brow is yet another product I want in my makeup drawer. It would be a life saver for the 'I'm in a lot of hurry' situations. But again, the shades! They all seem super warm.

9) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector: Another product I'm buying for sure. It's a liquid highlighter without any shimmers, and from what I've seen, it gives the prettiest sheen to the cheeks. Definitely a product I need to add to my personal collection and my makeup artist kit.

10) Essie Take It Outside: Due to the move, I had to make serious cuts in the nail polish department. I had about 300 nail polishes back home, but only took 12 of them with me. My little selection is missing several different shades, and this lovely grayish taupe from this year's autumn collection would make a great new addition, don't you think so?

    1. Tudi jaz nisem sigurna, če imajo tukaj Artdeco, ampak bom raziskala. Od Soap & Glory sem pa že gledala, ampak so mi vsi njihovi odtenki pretopli oziroma presvetli.
