Essence’s Peel Off Base Coat Review

If you’re a girl who likes wearing glitter nail polishes, you have to go buy this base coat. It is amazing! Why? Because when it’s time to remove your (glitter) nail polish, you’ll need nothing, and more importantly, the removal will be quick and easy! The only thing you’ll need to do to remove your nail polish – on condition you have applied this product before painting your nails with a regular nail polish, of course – is to peel it off! It usually comes off in one piece, and does not ruin your nails, as it doens’t contain any solvents. To me, this is a miracle product! We all know how annoying and time-consuming a removal of a nail polish with a nail polish remover can get if you’re wearing several coats, a top coat or glitters….

Base coats are usually transparent, but as you can see, this one is white. Don’t worry about the color, though, because it becomes transparent when it dries. If you don’t know this yet, you have to apply this (or any other) base coat on your nails before painting them with a colored nail polish of your choice. You’ll have to put on a generous layer of this product and wait for it to become dry/transparent. This usually takes about five minutes. After that, you can apply a regular nail polish just like you usually do. Nothing complicated here. So, how many of you will be running to the store to get this fabulous product? I know I will – I need to stock up!

You can easily make your own. It's basically white glue (the same kind you used a kid in school) with a little bit of water to get it to a thin enough consistency to paint it on your nails.

This sounds amazing, I rarely wear glitter polishes because I hate removing them. However doesn't it just chip/peel off really easily during everyday life? Where can we get this miracle stuff from? :Dhttp://www.rafflesbizarre.blogspot.com

It doesn't peel off by itself. It works just like a regular base coat. In my country, Essence products are sold at a drug store, but I'm not sure if they're avaliable in the UK. I just know that they sell them in most other European countries and they've started selling them in the US.

I've heard about this. I know a lot of bloggers say it's like putting glue on the nails, or something like that. Well I still would want to try this out.

I've heard that too. Apparently it's the same, but I haven't tried the glue (yet).

I'm not sure if I would try glue, peeling nail polish off kinda sounds bad for your nails. So trying glue would make me nervous

I need this one to make my nail polish to last long. I do not have the time to always change my nail color so i prefer long lasting nail polish with the help of this kind of base coat.

Amazing! I always try to avoid peel off polish, but when it comes to glitter it's a brilliant idea! I guess I know what I'm buying tomorrow! Thanks for the tip 🙂

Bere se enkratno! Hvala za oceno. :)Najprej bom poskusila z lepilom, ki imam doma (hvala, Nuša), če mi bo tehnika všeč, bom kupila tudi podlak.
