Technic High Lights Review

Every make-up enthusiast in the world knows about the famous Benefit’s highlighter called ‘High Beam’. It’s one of the most hyped up beauty products, and everyone seems to love it. I’ve always wanted to try it, but the price – it costs about 20 € + shipping since it’s not sold in my country – has always put me off.

A few months ago, I luckily saw a post comparing the Benefit High Beam to a much cheaper and supposedly exactly the same highligher – Technic’s High Lights. I of course had to order it right away, and I am so glad I did. I’m in love with this product. Putting it on my brow bones, my cheek bones, on the top of my nose and on my cupid’s bow makes such a difference to my face. It really gives you the prettiest glow.

Here you can see the swatch of the product and how it looks like when it’s blended. Such a gorgeous light pink shimmer, right?! By the way, I bought the product here for about 4 €. You only need a teeny tiny amount of it, so the 13 ml bottle should last you ages. Literally.

I tried to show you how the product works on my face with these before and after photos, but I think I’ve failed, haha. I was in a hurry and didn’t check if photos turned out ok… If you look carefully, you can kind of see the highlighter on one of my cheeks and on one of my brow bones (right photo). Ahh, taking photos of myself is such a pain. It’s really difficult when you don’t see the screen.

Uporabna informacija… 🙂 In ja, vem kako je ko moraš sebe slikati. Meni največ problemov delajo oči – 100 slik, da prideta ena ali dve dobri ven. 😀

You can tell the difference from the second photo, I had a teeny tiny sample of the benefit version and really enjoy using it so far but this looks exactly the same but less of the price. Thanks x

I have wanted this for so long! I have a mini sample size of the Benefit High Beam and as much as I love it, it is about £24.50 in the UK!! I think I will be finally buying this soon. And don't worry, I see the highlighter on your cheeks! It looks lovely xhollylikestoblog.blogspot.com

This looks really great! I've always wanted to the the benefit high beam but never have due to the price (so expensive!). I can definitely see this in your before and after photos and it does look pretty perfect. I may have to do a bit of shopping! Thanks for the review 🙂 xox

This is such a great dupe for the Benefit High Beam. I keep forgetting to pick up a bottle. It looks great on you – really highlighting.

I love High Beam! I don't think we have Technic in the US, but it would be awesome if we did! It looks like a great, cheap dupe!

I definitely see a bit of a glow in your second photo compared to the first! 13ml is a tonne of product, I'm sure it will last you forever 🙂 Looks very similar to High Beam, might be a touch less pink? I have a 4ml little bottle of High Beam from this Coralista set I bought and I really like it, though I'm not sure if I'd splurge on the full size at Australian prices (it's something close to $60!!!).

Ohhh this sounds great, I have a mini of the Benefit one but I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag X
