NOTD: Prickly Pear

Today I’m here to show you my first Barry M nail polish. When I was in London, the only nail polishes on my mind were the Essie ones, but when I saw the Barry M stand, I couldn’t resist getting a couple of their gellys as well. Prickly Pear is the first shade that caught my attention. I have to admit, I do have a soft spot for pastel nail polishes. Especially for the turqoise and lilac ones.

I already know that Prickly Pear will be my go-to spring shade. Apart from the colour being totally gorgeous, it is also very glossy or gel-like, just like the bottle says. There is definitely no need to apply a top coat to make them look shinier, but I still use it for the sake of proloning the wear and making the polish dry quicker. To get the Prickly Pear opaque, I applied two coats. The application was great and not streaky at all, which doesn’t often happen with pastel nail polishes, so I’m very impressed. The only thing I don’t like is the wand. I prefer them big (no sexual connotation intended), but the Barry M ones are unfortunately quite tiny.

Oh my goodness, this is such a great colour! And I've heard bloggers raving about this new range of Barry M polishes as they make nails look like if you've had a gel manicure – fantastic! Definitely need to check out the Barry M stand next time I go to Boots!

That color looks so pretty. I have a Zoya one that looks very similiar but I have to add 3-4 coats for the color to show as its very opaque. I also prefer a bigger nail polish brush.

Lepa barva! Tudi meni so zelo všeč pastelne barve, samo se mi zdi da jih je res najtežje lepo namazat. ps. Če boš imela čas bom zelo vesela če pogledaš "giveaway" na mojem blogu. Glow podarja en njihov ovratnik.
