Banana Muffins With a Twist Recipe

Last week, on the 25th of March, it was Mother’s Day in my country. I was planning to go buy some chocolate and flowers for my mom, but because I got snowed in, I had to come up with something else. The first thing that popped into my head were muffins and when I figured out that I had all the ingredients I needed at home, it was time for the next step – baking!

Muffins are the easiest pastry you can make, as you literally just throw all the ingredients together and put the mixture into an oven. For these muffins I used: 220 g of white flour, 70 g of sugar, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 dl of milk, 1/2 dl of oil, 2 ripe mashed bananas, 50 g of chocolate chips, and 50 g of diced walnuts.

I first gathered all the ingredients and then put flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in one big bowl. In another other bowl, I combined a beaten egg, milk, oil, bananas, chocolate chips and walnuts, and then threw this mixture into the first, bigger bowl. After I thoroughly mixed everything together with a spoon, I scooped the mixture into a muffin tray and baked on 190°C for 20 minutes. The muffins turned out super delicious! Will you try making these as well?

I agree with you on muffins subject. They are really easy to make. My mother loves (by that I mean adores) walnuts so this might be a perfect muffin for her. Great recipe, by the way.Keep up with great work!

Sej to ti sam 5 min vzame. Samo zmečeš skupaj, ostalo delo pa pečici prepustiš. 😛

Meni se zdi, da nam je te chocolate chips enkrat teta iz Žita prinesla, sem pa danes tako mini škatlico tudi v Merkatorju videla.
